• The 24”×9” Balloon has a tapered edge that is designed to work with a rectangular chimney opening that is between 18”x6” to 24”x9”. The black handle-valve on the bottom of the Chimney Balloon is 7” long. Every Chimney Balloon also comes with a two-foot-long removable clear inflation tube that connects to the handle-valve to make inflation easy.
• IMPORTANT – The Balloon CANNOT BE USED WITH an active vented GAS LOG SET. For safety, a VENTED GAS LOG set would need to be DISABLED or REMOVED in order to use the Chimney Balloon.
• FALL & WINTER BENEFITS – In cooler weather the Balloon stops cold uncomfortable fireplace drafts from a chimney caused by a broken, warped, or missing flue damper. It stops heat loss by acting as a chimney plug draft stopper that air seals and insulates the fireplace. This saves you money and heat, and improves comfort.
