This stunning, kiln dried Buckeye burl is fantastic for stand out projects. Colors, figure, and patterns vary greatly from piece to piece. Bark inclusions and live edges are normal with this species as are some checks and voids. It is common for Buckeye to have 1 8” to 3 16” bow, cup or twist. The wood is very pliable; it is easy to apply pressure to boards to get them to lay flat. Buckeye is an extremely difficult wood to cut and procure. Enjoy this special treat!
