This beautiful material was cut from several hand selected logs. Photos feature an array of color, and figure, which ranges in intensity and uniqueness from piece to piece depending on which part of the log the wood was cut from. It has been air dried since 2015. It is dry and ready to use, but may contain a slight amount of residual moisture. This wood has been surfaced on two sides. Bowl blanks and turning squares are fully wax sealed. Hand picked for beauty, you’ll enjoy working this exquisite hardwood. There is Intense marblecake and this piece also has fiddleback present. It also has a 2 inch check on edge grain, though very minor. It would also be suitable for electric guitar.
