This beautiful Katalox wood has been kiln dried and is surfaced on two sides. A rough edge or minor end surface check may be present. Pin holes may be present in the sapwood. This unique hardwood is ideal for any woodworking project your creativity dictates! Katalox is an excellent substitute for African Ebony in stringed instruments. Over several years Katalox ages to a dark purple black. This piece has planer skip and bug holes. Please see pictures for details.
