Description

Okoume is similar to Mahogany in its working & finishing properties. It sands & finishes well, yielding bright and cheery projects due to its iridescence. Pinkish brown to golden tones with lovely figure make it an excellent choice for a wide variety of woodworking projects. 1 16 to 1 8 bow may be present in boards over 36 . The wood is kiln dried, surfaced on two sides, and ready for use. This piece has checks and inclusions. Please see pictures for details.
